Email Distribution with office 365 STMP Mail not send

Hi,

We’re using Qalytpus Cloud to send a Email Report Using Office 365 SMTP.
The report is made of 10 attached files at max and in every file you find 4 tabs.

The generations of the rapport throught Qalytpus works just fine but we get a error with the Office 365 SMTP. The generation of the report Last between 1H to 1H30.

The report is supposed to be send to 125 Users but no email is sent at the end of the task.
Instead the SMTP log indicate : Smtp server[1|1/6/2026 7:07:51 AM]: XXX X.X.X **Authentication unsuccessful** [XXXXXXXXXXXXX.XXXXXXX.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM 2026-01-06T07:07:52.643Z 08DE4C90CB2534A0].

This probleme does not exist on other report. Only this one.
We also have another smaller mail report sent which use the same application as data source and this one works fine.

Does anybody know what’s causing this issue and how to solve it ?

Welcome to the Qalyptus community.
Please note that the emails are sent by your SMTP server; Qalyptus is only an SMTP client that sends the information to the SMTP server to send emails.
According to the log file (Authentication unsuccessful), the user who sent the email is not authenticated. Probably the password was changed, or some parameters are not correctly configured in the Microsoft Admin Center.
I recommend that you go to Qalyptus Cloud > Administration > System > Edit the SMTP configuration and reconnect your account.
Also, ensure that the sender email address configured in Task > Email matches the user’s email address in the SMTP configuration.

Then try again. If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to open a ticket with support.
