I am trying to import a specific cell number from a table into a report using Qalyptus Desktop, but I am not sure if what I am trying to achieve is possible. From a Qlik table, I would like to bring a specific cell value into the report such as the value of cell row 5 column 2. I have tried a few different things, but I was unable to find any way that worked well. Does anyone know if there is a way this can be done, or if there is a workaround I can utilize that would work?
We were able to get in touch with Lotfi from the Qalyptus team regarding our use case, and they were able to provide a solution that achieved what we needed. The solution provided was as follows:
Create a sheet with the name “data”
Drag and drop the object to a cell in the sheet “data”
Make a preview to see the position of the cells
Close the file
Back to the template editor, in your main sheet, create a link to the specific cell in the table in the sheet: “data”
Hide the sheet “data”
